Goat meat peppersoup is a very special and classic delicacy in Nigeria.
Ingredients
* 30 small pieces of goat meat
* 1 tablespoon of ground onion
* 1 tablespoon of ground dry pepper
* 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
* 20 leaves of Effirin
* 2 cubes of Maggi
* 2 litres of water
* Salt to taste
Preparation
1. Wash the meat thoroughly, season with onion, salt and a tablespoon of pepper.
2. Steam till water is almost dried up.
3. Add the 2 litres of water, stir and add the ground nutmeg and also the two cubes of Maggi.
4. Cook till meat is tender and the stock is slightly thickened.
5. Wash and shred the Effirin leaves and add to the boiling sauce.
6. Stir and add salt to taste, simmer for 10 minutes.
7. Remove from heat and serve hot.
